1 The transformer can be transported by train, ship, truck or
plane. The vehicle should be kept clean and relatively free of

jarring or shifting during transportation should be avoided.
3 Supplementary accessories, parts, and document are packaged
separately and delivered together with the transformer.
4 Products without packages should be secured to the vehicle by
binding through the holes in wheels, clamps or lifting lugs.

6 Stacking of transformers is not allowed during transportation or
storage. Use wood blocks not less than 100mm high to support the
transformer during transit at port or storage at destination.
Inspection should be carried out immediately after the transformer
arrives at the site. The following items are to be checked:
1 Whether parameters on the nameplate conform to those indicated in
the contract, for example: type No., rated voltage, connection
symbol, impedance voltage, etc.
2 Whether documents are complete.
3 Whether assembly parts packed with transformer comply with the

transportation; whether any connections have become loose or
cracked; whether insulation layers are damaged; whether there are
any foreign objects or dirt. In addition, remove wooden spacers
used for transportation, if any.
5 Re-pack the transformer after inspection unless it will be
installed immediately, and store it in a safe weatherproof location
to avoid damage or theft.
6 If serious damage is found on the packaging or product, inform
the transportation company and insurance company immediately and
protect the goods from further handling.
